Reddit AMA, New limited Art Tier, Jukebox on Twitch - It's the final 72 Hours!
Jukebox Journal (devlog)
It is the final 72 hours for Jukebox. If you've been meaning to snag a copy, now’s a great time to do so!
Jukebox Reddit AMA Wednesday, February 7th, 1pm EST
As a last push for Jukebox and a chance to talk more about the game, I'm hosting a Reddit AMA. It’s a bit of an experiment and we’ll see how it goes! But if you ever wanted to ask a question about any of my articles, Jukebox, or…well Anything™️ tomorrow is your chance!
The AMA will go from 1pm EST until 3pm EST.
Direct an Art Piece Tier LIMITED to one (Drops Wednesday 6:30pm EST)
This is very specific, and one day in the future I might write about Kickstarter tiers and stretch goals, but if you’re a reader and you’re interested in elite special one-of-a-kind Tiers, there’s one dropping tomorrow at 6:30 EST where you get to co-create one of Lia’s internal Broadway poster inspired art pieces. Want yourself pictured as one of the Heathers in the titular musical? Or perhaps have your D&D character immortalized as a masked singer in Phantom of the Opera garb? This is your chance!
Check out the Kickstarter update for more information.
Jukebox on Twitch: Playset Writer Interviews and Actual Play
The Jukebox Writer's Panel
This is a one-hour panel interview, hosted by Valiant Dorian, with five of the playset writers:
Brooke Whitney (Lost in Paradise playset)
Erin Roberts (Stop (In the Name of Love) playset)
Ezakur (Revenge Is Best Served Sung playset)
James Mendez (Romance of the Street Kingdoms playset)
Jeremy Harper (Hearts Take Flight playset)
We discuss getting into TTRPGs and TTRPG design, what inspired the different playsets, and musical storytelling. The Jukebox writers are seriously so talented (multiple folks who have worked with WotC, won ENnies, and more). It's a great listen for anyone curious about the different paths into TTRPG writing and eager to know more about the playsets.
I've also been posting Twitter/Bsky mini-interviews about the playset writers. You can read the 10 that are up over on my Instagram.
Jukebox Actual Play
Plus One EXP was kind enough to host an actual play with Superdillin (newly announced host of the One Shot podcast - congrats Dillin!), Madeleine and Nala J. Wu. They played the High Stakes High School playset and the story ended up being about a group of dorky seniors trying to win The National Midwest High School Theater Conference Competition sponsored by Salesforce (NMHSTCC). Did they win the grand prize? Who is the mysterious butler Jenkins? What does Shrek the Musical sound like in an Aussie accent? Watch to find out!
Over and out,
